  Needed ammo for some practice. Quickly found what i was looking for and had time to browse afterwards. Customer service was remarkable with their knowledge and details about the merchandise they offer.Great experience

  I find myself in Academy on a weekly basis. I buy all kinds of equipment, clothes, and hunting stuff from here. The four stars is because lately this Academy has had some young employees (I know they probably all have younger employees) that are not helpful. I've needed help and can't find anyone, when I do they were just talking to their other young coworkers. I've overheard the parties they went to or will be going to, who they're dating, and about "crappy customers" they've recently dealt with. Other than the gossiping, I've had too many bad experiences at the registers. I know I sound like the old "get off my lawn" guy and trust me I'm not. I'm very patient and hard to upset. I understand (and encourage) hiring young people here, but it's up to management to get this under control! I want to give 5 stars, and originally had 4 stars, but after remembering these lately, I've changed it to 3 stars. If this improves I'll gladly come back and move up the stars to 4 or even 5. The merchandise keeps me coming back.
